Sell-side advisory to the Koza’s shareholders in exiting to Ekol Food

Leading Turkish food distribution company Koza Gıda has signed a Sales Agreement for the sale of its shares to Ekol Food, one of the sector’s leading food suppliers. Ventura Partners has acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of Koza Gıda in this transaction.

Founded in Istanbul in 1994, Koza Gıda is one of Turkey’s leading companies in the food supply industry, serving the hotel, café, and retail sectors. Koza Gıda distributes nearly 900 products from around 100 brands across 16 different countries.

Ekol Food, established in 2003 and based in Istanbul, is also one of Turkey’s leading food distribution companies. Ekol Food operates throughout Turkey with nearly 1,500 products sourced from 22 countries.

With this acquisition, Ekol Food, one of the leading players in Turkey, will further strengthen its position in the rapidly growing food distribution sector.
